Well, just joined the page and thought I'd write something quickly just for kicks, something that's been on my mind lately.

Service, Outreach, & Witnessing Committee Charter Statement

The SOW committee will plan, organize, and facilitate Service, Outreach, and Witnessing events and opportunities for the Grace Presbyterian congregation.

Scope of work:
Creation and maintenance of church website
Provide a method and plan for digital sermon broadcasting
Planning of outreach for incoming PSU students
Planning of a service events for the congregation

If you are interested in math, there is an interesting talk scheduled next week in the Mathematics Department at Penn State. The speaker is Terry Tao. He won the Fields Medal for proving (together with Ben Green) the existence of arbitrary long arithmetic progressions of prime numbers. The New York Times described it this way: "In 2004, Dr. Tao, along with Ben Green, a mathematician now at the University of Cambridge in England, solved a problem related to the Twin Prime Conjecture by looking at prime number progressions—series of numbers equally spaced.
